It’s interesting how often our body knows the answer before our mind does. In this blog, I’ll share my personal experience and show you how to trust yourself more, love yourself more and understand your intuition, and stop second-guessing the decisions that already feel clear deep down.
Before we fully understand a situation, a person, or an opportunity… we feel it. That gut feeling. That quiet intuition telling us what’s right… or wrong. And still, we ignore it. We overthink, we doubt ourselves, and we look for validation from others instead of learning to trust our intuition…

So why is it so hard to trust yourself and listen to your gut feeling? let me explain it…

why this topic is so important to me
this is not just something I talk about… this is something I experienced myself.
I was in a 3 year relationship that was honestly toxic and draining. of course we had good moments too but deep down something just didn’t feel right.
my body started reacting in a crazy way. I was throwing up multiple times a week, had way too much acidity in my body…
I went to doctors, tried to fix my diet, did everything I thought would help but nothing changed.
until I finally realised what it actually was. my body was trying to tell me to get the hell out of there.
those were warning signs… and I ignored them for way too long.
the moment I broke up it was gone. and the crazy part? it happened again.
last year I met someone, we got really close but it was also a bit draining… and I remember from the first day I met him… I had that same acidic feeling again.
and still I ignored it.
a few months later I realised again… it was a warning sign and again I didn’t listen.
it’s so hard to listen to your body… because your head is constantly playing with you.
your head and your heart are not always on the same page, your head knows… but your heart still wants something different.
and sometimes your heart keeps going for things that are not meant for you.
but at the same time…
your heart can also lead you to the most beautiful experiences,
places, and moments in life.
and that’s where it gets confusing.
because how do you know when to listen…
and when to let go?
how to listen to your gut & body more
in those moments when you’re rushing into something…
Pay attention how you feel
- do you feel heavy or light in that moment?
- are you calm or anxious?
- do you feel a tight chest or an open feeling?
- is your stomach okay?
- how is your body reacting overall?
your body tells you if something is off or right..
but you have to actually listen to it.
trust yourself more: your life, your choice.
your gut has been right more often than you think.
so many moments where you had a bad feeling…
and in the end, you were right.
so why do we still ignore it?
let’s start being more aware of our feelings, our body, and those small signals.
the first feeling you get..trust it.
and even if it turns out to be the “wrong” choice,
you needed to go through it.
it’s part of your journey.
